About College View School...
College View originally opened as a K-8 school on February 15, 1965. Our school was named for its location near Goldenwest College. When College View opened, its “open spaced” design was considered innovative and received visitors from throughout the western United States. Located on the northeast portion of Huntington Beach, the school currently serves more than 400 kindergarten through fifth grade students.
School hours for grades 1-3 and full-day Kindergarten are from 8:00 to 1:50. Hours for fourth and fifth grades are from 8:00 to 2:50. Our AM Kindergarten will begin at 8:00 with dismissal at 11:20 daily. Every Wednesday is a modified day with all 1-5 and full-day Kindergarten students beginning at 8:00 and dismissal at 12:20.
